less cake {more frosting} and find out how Lara attached these super
CUTE embellishments to her hat that she bought @ Hobby Lobby for $3.99!!
Brilliant!!
Lara...thanks so much for sharing this
FaBuLouS idea!!
Here is a FuN ring idea that only took me a few minutes to make.
Here are the supplies I used:

I bought my ring blanks @
Michaels...and I bought the buttons and glue @
Walmart. First I cut off the bottom of my button with my wire cutters...
Then...sanded the stump down so the middle was flush with the rest of the button...

Then I used E-6000 to glue it on! So
FuN and
EaSy!!
This project turned out to be a little over
$1.00 a ring!
WaHoo!! My kind of project!!
Check out these other FuN button ring links that I came across on the web: Here and Here !So CuTe!!

Here is a really FuN and EASY Spring Headband Idea! All you need is a piece of scrap fabric,a piece of ribbon {the size that would fit around your daughters head}, a wooden disk , felt, hot glue gun, needle and thread, and a piece of elastic.
First I covered the wooden disk with fabric using hot glue...

Then sew your elastic to one end of your ribbon...then make sure to fit around your daughters head while stretching the elastic a little...then stitch the other side...

Then I cut pieces of felt a little smaller than the disks...and glued the ribbon in the middle of the felt and the disk. It gives a little cushion on your little ones head :)

And there ya have it! So
FuN!!
HaPpy CraFtiNg!!

I absolutely
LoVe the way all of the fabric flowers and rosettes look! There are a TON floating around on the net...so I decided to give it a try and make some rings for me and my girls!

I don't have a pic of how I made the rosettes...but it was
SuPer Easy! I just took a strip of scrap fabric that I ripped...twisted it (loosely) all the way down...then rolled it up like I was making a snail. Then tucked the end under...and hot glued it on a wooden disk. (the same disks I used
here.) Then...I put a little extra glue on the edge of the wooden disk...and pushed the fabric over it so that you wouldn't see the wood.
Then for the band...I just used some elastic that I already had...and hand sewed to the size to fit our fingers. {I'm not sure if they have different colors in elastic...but I almost cut one of my daughters hair headbands so that i could have a brown band.}

Then hot glued it on the wooden disk...

Aren't these
FuN!! I came across this
idea @
Smashed Peas and Carrots where Maggie made these AdoRaBle rings out of: scrap fabric, 7/8"button kit, brush on gloss glaze, and adjustable ring blanks! With all of the FuN fabric patterns out there...the possibilities are endless!! Wouldn't these be a FuN project to do with your daughters, granddaughter's...or YW!!

Here is a super
FuN and
EaSy necklace idea that you could make with your kiddos!
To make these you need:
-a wooden circle that I bought @ the craft store {the thinner the better}
-a metal jewelery ring {found by the jewelery making supplies}
-super cute sparkly pink felt that I found @ Michaels
-tacky glue
-paint
-drill
-nylon cording that I bought @ Walmart
First we painted our wooden disks...cut a heart out of felt...glued the heart on...drilled hole in the top...put the metal ring in...hung with nylon cording, or it would be super cute with ribbon. Then...I just tied ours in a knot at the top. SuPer EaSy!
HaVe FuN!

I have to admit...I am addicted to making fabric flowers! They are sooo much FuN...so CuTe...and EaSy! I have seen them floating around online for sometime now...and thought they are just so AdoRable...so I decided to make some Halloween ones for my girls! My oldest daughter even loved helping make them. So...here's what I did:
I cut a 4" circle...3 1/2" circle...3" circle...and a 2 1/2" circle out of fabric... Then frayed the heck out of the edges with my fingernails. Then I stacked the fabric on-top of each other and sprayed the fabric with{ fabric starch}...then placed on cookie sheet and put in oven...under WARM heat until fabric dries.(only a couple of min.) {this will help keep its shape and help the edges to curl a little} Then I cut one 4" circle of tulle and added it to my 4 circles of fabric. I put my tulle in between the 2nd and 3rd layer of fabric. You don't have to add tulle...but I think it adds a little cuteness. :) Then sew the layers together. For the center...I just Mod Podged some fabric on the bottom of one of those glass rocks...and hot glued it to the middle. On the back...I hot glued a clippie and a piece of felt to the bottom... and there ya go!!! Super EaSy and Super CuTe!!
I made smaller ones for my little girl the same way...but I started my circles smaller and I used the smaller glass beads.
My daughter wears these hooked to her headband{ with the clippie}...and sitting a little crooked on her head. It looks sooo StinKin' CuTe!!
Wouldn't these make great presents...or...stocking stuffers????!!!!
HaVe FuN!!

O.K....{AdOrAbLe!!!}
