Quick & EaSy...Last Minute Gift idea!

A FuN earring holder !

I've seen a ton of these floating around on the Web...and I've thought that they are sooo Stinkin' CuTe {and} functional.

To make this one...I found an old frame...{that my friend didn't want anymore :)} spray painted it...and rubbed stain {with a cloth}...over it. Then...bought fabric window screen @ Home Depot...and cut it to fit inside of frame...and used my trustee staple gun...to secure around the edge. Then...I found a scrap piece of ribbon and stapled to the top..and hot glued a flower on the bottom! Very Simple, CuTe and Inexpensive!

Super C*U*T*E Snowman Donuts!

How FuN are these??!! I was sooo excited when I came across this idea @ A Little Tipsy...where she came across it @ Creative Gift & Party Ideas !

When I showed these to my daughter...she loved them...and wanted to take them for her school Christmas party. And...I was thinking... these would also be perfect for neighbor goody plates!

All I used was...mini powder sugar donuts...and frosting. Or...you could use...a carrot for the nose...and mini choc. chips. Either way... they would be AdoRaBle!

Personalized towel gift idea!

Here is a pic of another personalized towel that I made. This one is similar to the ones I made here...but instead of using fabric glue under the letters...I used strips of Stitch Witchery that I bought @ Walmart... ironed them on...and zig-zagged the edges. Then I added strips of ribbon on both ends of towel...and stitched those edges. I bought this towel @ Target for {i think} $4.99...and I already had ribbon and fabric...so I think total cost of this gift was about $6!

Popsicle Stick Sled Ornament!

Start off with 7 Popsicle sticks...
Cut all but 2 to the same dimensions above. {I use tree pruning shears to cut mine.}


Cut scrapbook paper out with exact-o knife. {I have made some without paper...and they turned out CuTe too.}...

Mod Podge the paper to the sticks...

Turn the sticks face down and glue the 2 sticks that go across...

then glue your bottom sticks on...

then when dry...flip your sled over and glue on your header stick...

then...when dry...flip sled back over...and glue some jute for the handle!

And there you have it!!!

These are really fun to make. They would be a blast to make with your kiddos!! One year I made these and used them instead of tags for all of my Christmas presents. {when I had a little more time :) } I just wrote on the sled with a perm. marker! Also... I have learned that you could use hot glue if you want...but when I went to get my ornaments out the following year...they didn't stay glued. Sooo...I use clear Tacky Glue instead.

Old Window Gift Idea!

This is what I made for my niece this year! There was only glass in one side of the window...so I put her name {in vinyl} on that...and stapled some cute fabric that I bought at JoAnns in the back. Then I stapled chicken wire to the bottom half ...and made up some CuTe scrapbook paper covered clothespins {that I bought @ the dollar store} so that she could hang her friends pics... or whatever she would want... with them. Then drilled 2 holes in the top...and hung with ribbon! Super FuN & Easy!!

Super CuTe Scripture/Book Covers!

Aren't these FuN! I found these at Craftaholics Anonymous where Linda made these fun scripture covers with the young girls from her church ...for an activity! How CreAtiVe and CuTe...and what a beautiful way to protect your favorite books! These are easy to remove and won't damage the book.

These covers... and a new book... might make a great gift idea for someone who LoVes to read!!
