Here is a
FuN art display idea for your kiddos!

First I took a square cupboard door...sanded and painted it...then sanded and stained the edges with {Minwax} Dark Walnut stain. Then I bought an over sized clothes pin... used Mod Podge to attach scrapbook paper to one side...wiped black and brown ink on the edges
{for a distressed look}...then tied with a ribbon. Then used E-6000 to glue it to my cupboard door.

Then I added the vinyl words...drilled two holes in the top...and used wire to hang!
THat's It!!
So FuN...and very easy for little hands to hang up ... and show off their favorite creations!

Here is a FuN idea to hang your kiddos pictures up...or any picture you might have. Hanging your pictures on a clip like this would make it quick and easy to switch them out whenever you want! Here's how I made them...

Here are the supplies that I used to do this project...

First...sand & paint your cupboard door. {mine was already white} Then...I wiped stain (Minwax dark walnut) with a rag on all the edges...
Then...drill your holes for the ribbon...

Add your ribbon and tie in a bow...

Then...using E-6000 glue...glue your magnetic clip to were you want it. I used a 8x10 picture...so I glued my clip wherever the picture looked centered. {Tip: If the bottoms of your picture start to curl up...I used a little tape to hold mine down...or you could also use photo corners}

Then...for hanging...I just use the ribbon that is showing in the back...to hang on a nail!
So CuTe...and So SiMpLe!!

HaPpY CraFtiNg!!
Hi All!!
I'm back from a very FuN & BuSy Holiday break! Whew... I really shouldn't have slept in {everyday} till 9:30...because I sure am feeling the effects when I have to wake-up and get the kiddos ready for school. :) But... I SuRe ENJOYED it!! I hope you all had a FuN and SaFe holiday also! :)
Anywhoo... now that Christmas is over...I thought I'd share a few projects that I was busy working on.
Magnet Boards for my nieces

Here's how I made them:
First...I sanded the cupboard door down...then instead of using a metal sheet...I used magnetic paint that I bought @ Home Depot. Then I painted the magnetic paint on the center panel of the cupboard door. I put on about 7 coats of paint before the magnets from my fridge would stay put...and realized that it wasn't strong enough to hold up a paper...so...I went to JoAnn's and bought some metal heavy duty magnets, and thankfully they worked perfectly. Then...I painted the outer edge of the cupboard...sanded the edges...and wiped stain on them. Then...screwed {mug} hooks into the bottom {so that they could hang their necklaces}...and drilled holes in top...and hung with wire.

HaVe FuN!
Yea!! Its done! I have been wanting to make one of these for quite some time now...after I saw this AdOrAbLe idea here! Today...I came across another one here! SO CUTE!!
My daughters bows were always getting smashed...they were scattered everywhere...and when it was time to find them...I had no idea where they were. NOT ANYMORE!!! :)
I made this from a cupboard door. YeS...I love re-purposing! I just painted it...sanded edges a little...mod podged the paper on it...distressed it by wiping stain on edges...stapled ribbon using staple gun...and drilled holes in the top and hung it with wire! So CuTe and So SiMpLe!!
I was thinking...you could even turn this into a picture holder or message center...by making some cute clothes pin hangers like the ones I made
here!
HaVe FuN!!

These are a cute
inexpensive way to use or reuse new or old cabinet doors. These I found at a discount building store in
Payette. They had dozens of shapes to choose from. Some, I put fence insulators on for the cabinet
handles, and some I put coat hangers on. They all turned out
sooo cute.
