I am the owner of Sodderbug and Founder of Miles for Smiles. And? I'm mom to two children who keep me running. I like to stay busy but also love to nap every day for 2 hours while my kids nap! I love to run and have completed 4 marathons. In fact, it was a marathon that led to the start of my business - it never occurred to me that I would become a designer of custom jewelry.

While in Chicago preparing to run the Chicago Marathon, I stayed with a friend. She was excited to take me out and show me the town that weekend, but all I wanted to do was see her craft room. She took me down there, taught me how to solder - which was merely one of her hobbies - and I spent the weekend distracting myself from the anxious feelings that can come just before running a marathon - and I was hooked!"
