How FUN are these! Who would have thought you could make a cute little dress out of your husbands old shirts! I haven't made one yet...but it is on my TO DO list!! Dana @ made and Traci @ amazing maeboth have good tips and tutorials to show how they made these! ******************To CuTe! *******************
Here are some VERY cute belts I found at jcaroline creative! I think they are sooo adorable! They look like they should be really easy to make too. They would make really cute Birthday or Christmas gifts. I am definitely going to make some of these for my daughters! Caroline has posted instructions to make these here. She also has many other CuTe crafty ideas so check them out!
These are made out of 1/4" plywood. I just drew( what I thought looked like a flower), and cut them out. The leaves were scrap wood that was leftover from cutting out the flowers. The stems could be made out of wood lath, or a sturdy yard stick (Home Depot has good ones for cheap) that you could sand down so you can't see the measurements. Then paint.
My daughter, who is turning into a little CraFter herself, had fun helping me with the painting.
Once they were done drying, I sanded the tops, and the edges down.
Then, I wiped stain around all the edges to give it that older look.
Then I used wood glue to hold the pieces together.
I think they turned out really cute! It thought would be really cute to take my kiddos pictures with them for a fun spring look!
Here is an EaSyway to display you or your children's blessing outfits... or those little outfits you just can't seem to get rid of because they are So Cute.
I took an old board, cut at desired length, nailed horseshoe nails making sure there is an equal distance in between each nail, and hung sawtooth hangers on the back so I could hang it up. THAT-L-BE-IT! It is so simple and sooo cute. If you don't have an old board, you could also buy a 1x6 cedar fence slat at the lumber store, and paint to desired color, and sand it like crazy, and use a dark stain to wipe around edges with an old rag. That's why I love the older look, because you really can't mess it up.
This would also look SuPerCuTe in a little girls room with little dresses hanging from the nails. If you wanted to take it to another level...you could also hang your wedding veil, or whatever keepsake(s) you might have stored away. Just have fun with it!
